Service Research

How are health and welfare services organized, and what are the consequences for those who work there and for those who receive these services?

Service research in health, care and welfare is an interdisciplinary field of research. We research how cultural, legal, technological and individual conditions affect access to services, the quality and costs of the services and individuals' health, living conditions and participation. The research also looks at how the services work, for whom and under what terms.
