Student ID
To identify yourself as a student, you may download a student ID app. For the student ID app to be valid, you must first pay the semester fee and complete your semester registration in StudentWeb.
The app is accepted as a valid student ID by transport service companies in Norway. However, if the app fails to show your photo, a valid ID with photo must be shown in addition to the app.
Please note that in order to access buildings and use printers at campus, you will need a student ID card.
Download your digital student ID
Before you can use the digital Student ID app you have to activate your HVL user account.
When your account has been activated, you can download the Student ID app, choose Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, log in, and accept the terms.
The app is available in Norwegian and English.
