International students

Orientation Days

The orientation days take place at the beginning of each semester.  During these days we make sure that you get all the necessary information about being a student at HVL.

The official semester start of the autumn semester 2021 will be August 16th. We invite all new, international students to participate in the official opening events on their respective campuses. More information about the events on the 16th will be published later.

Due to the pandemic situation and quarantine rules for incoming students for the autumn semester of 2021, the orientation day will be an online event on Zoom  August 9th 2021. Physical events at the campuses will be arranged in the week after, starting on August 16th 2021.

The orientation will provide you with all the information you need for a semester in Norway. It is an opportunity to get practical support, ask questions, see other exchange students and meet the student assistants from each campus.
