Artemis

Artemis is an European university alliance aming at creating deep institutional collaboration within research, innovation and education.

Western Norway University of Applied Sciences is one of eight partners in the Artemis Alliance, which together seeks to create new opportunities for students and researchers, in close contact with regional professional and working life.

With the alliance, we build knowledge, strengthen local communities, and promote regional growth by developing and sharing innovative solutions across borders.

The Artemis Alliance aims to:

  • establish a strategic and long-term collaboration in education, research, and innovation among our member institutions
  • contribute to solving global societal challenges, with a particular focus on sustainable mobility and regional development
  • develop innovative methods for regional and interregional cooperation in all partner countries.

As a student at HVL, you can expect:

    What happens next?

  • The alliance is established in work packages and sub-groups
  • Work on a joint course catalogue is underway
  • Joint vision for future-proof education to be delivered at the end of May
  • Meeting in Regensburg in April for the work package on innovation and knowledge transfer (WP5)
