I am interested in viral-host interactions in the marine ecosystem. I am currently working as a Postdoc in the "ViralICE: Viral diversity and Interactions in a Changing Environment on Kelp" project at HVL.
The main objective of ViralICE is to increase the knowledge of Phaeoviral infections in kelp. We will analyse kelp species that are key players in the marine ecosystem and relevant for the Norwegian aquaculture industry, to study viral-host interactions and potential viral diseases in kelp.
