She is appointed by the Department for Masters in Clinical Nursing in a PhD scholarship position. She has prior work experience in the emergency department and the Thoracic surgical intensive care and recovery department at Haukeland University Hospital. Additionally. She holds a 25% position as an adviser at the national competence centre Verdighetsenteret.
She is a qualified nurse since 2002, and has been working as an intensive care nurse since 2012. She also completed her master's in intensive care nursing in 2019.h
