Field of work
I teach Norwegian at the teacher education at Stord, both GLU 1-7 and GLU 5-10, both on cycle 1 and cycle 2, and have done so since 2004. I teach linguistics, writing and oral didactics, and have earlier taught grammar courses. I supervise several at both masters and phd levels.
In 2018, I defended my dissertation "Traces of the others - addressivity in argumentative student texts", and in the period 2021-2023 I had a postdoc fellowship focusing on learning conversations between students in the kindergarten teacher and teacher education programmes and the children they work with during their practice periods.
Current projects that I am and have been participating in are SciTalk, ReTPro, and GeoSite, where I am also a project manager.
I have been a member of the research group Orite since the start in 2017, and am currently a functioning leader for the group.
