Field of work
I am an associate professor at the master's in clinical nursing.
I have a Bachelor's degree in nursing from Bergen University College (2006-2009),and a master's degree in nursing science from the University of Bergen (2010-2012). From 2014-2018, I took a PhD associated with the research group for lifestyle epidemiology at the University of Bergen. I defended my thesis in December 2018 with the thesis "Hypertensive pregnancy disorders and subsequent cardiovascular disease in Norwegian women". From 2021 to 2024 I was a postdoctoral researcher at Haukeland University Hospital (Helse Vest). I then focused my reearch on diabetes and diabetes complications.
