PhD from the University of Bergen (UiB) with the thesis "Returning diability pensioners with back pain to work" (2007). Post doc at Uni Research Health from 2008-2010. Twenty years of clinical experience from primary and specialist health services. Central to the start of the research group Movement and Function (BeFu) in 2013 and has been the group's leader until August 2019. Project leader, main and co-supervisor for several PhD projects in the areas of function evaluation and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, dizziness, and balance and mobility in elderly with hearing loss. Have experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Responsible for Master Courses in Clinical Physiotherapy: MAFYS102: Body, Movement, Health and Illnesses, MAMET500: Science Theory, Ethics and Methods, and MAFYS602/603 Master's thesis. Supervises a number of master's and bachelor's theses.
