Associate Professor in History at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (Campus Sogndal)

 

"I really love the Middle Ages - the greates millennium in human history!" 

My field of research is medieval Scandinavia, particularly the impact and involvement the crusade movement from the 11th century onwards. However, I'm also intereseted in Vikings and the wider political culture and state formation in Europe during the Middle Ages.  

I also teach a courses in Public History and love to talk with and to people about history.
