Sylwia Kolasa is a researcher and PhD-candidate whose work focuses on exploring the assotiations between hearing loss and physical performance in older individuals. Her research investigates how hearing impairment may impact postural control and physical performance, with a particular emphasis on the changes that occur before and after the use of hearing aids. Bridging multiple disciplines, her work combines expertise from audiology, physiotherapy, otolaryngology, and neurology to better understand the interplay between auditory and physical health in aging populations. Through this interdisciplinary approach, her aims to improve quality of life and functional outcomes for older individuals living with hearing loss.
