Field of work
Tracey is a research fellow in the MoveEarly project at the Faculty of Teacher Education, Culture and Sport in HVL.
Her previous qualifications are in the areas of Sport, Health Promotion, Playwork, and Early Childcare and Education. Tracey has 20 years of experience teaching in kindergarten teacher education with specialist areas of play, diversity and inclusion, quality enhancement and policy in ECE. Tracey also worked with the Scottish Government and the Care Inspectorate ( the regulatory body in Scotland for care services) to develop resources for childminders and kindergarten teachers.

Research areas
Tracey’s current research is to develop measurement instruments in the fields of movement, play and exploration in early childhood as part of the large scale MoveEarly Project .
