Note that the start-up event on August 12th is primarily for new students in the bachelor's programmes. The master's degree programme Maritime Operations will start on August 26th.

12.00–13.00: Welcome ceremony inside Festiviteten (concert hall in Haugesund)
14.00: Campus tour and barbeque
Tuesday, August 13th: Orientation day for exchange students
10:00–10:30: Welcome to orientation day
10:30–10:45: Meet your student advisors
10:45–11:15: Meet the student welfare organization
11:15–11:30: Meet the student assistant from Vardatun
11:30–12:00: Lunch
12:00–13:00: Tour of campus, meet Servicetorget, Library, Learning Lab

Fadder programme and buddy programme
There will also be other social activities throughout the week.
The Fadder programme is for full degree students in Haugesund, whereas exchange students have their own buddy programme.
