Frederico de Holanda (b. 1944, Recife, Brazil), Architect (Federal University of Pernambuco, 1966), Master of Science and PhD in Architecture (University of London, respectively, 1977 and 1997). Emeritus Professor and Senior Research Fellow, University of Brasília and CNPq. Books: Brasília: cidade moderna, cidade eterna [Brasilia: modern city, eternal city] (2010); Oscar Niemeyer: de vidro e concreto / of glass and concrete (bilingual edition, 2011); Exceptional Space (2011); 10 Mandamentos da Arquitetura [10 commandments of architecture] (2013, 2015); Construtores de mim [Builders of my Self] (2019). He investigates relations between configuration of buildings and cities, and social organisation. Film maker on subjects such as cities, architecture, culture, landscape.
