PhD workshop on picturebooks
The workshop aims to give young researchers who are writing a PhD thesis on picturebooks the opportunity to present and discuss their projects with renowned scholars working in the field of picturebook research.
The PhD workshop will be arranged in relation to the 7th International conference in the European Network of Picturebook Research at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
The deadline for proposals is December 15, 2018. All topics within picturebook research are relevant.
The procedure for the application is as follows:
- Submission of a 1.000 word abstract and a short biography as two attached Word documents.
- All submissions are reviewed, under anonymous (blind) conditions, by members of the workshop organizers in cooperation with the members of the Reading Committee.
- Notification of the acceptance of proposals will be made by March 15, 2019.
- The invited participants of the workshop are requested to submit a paper of approx. 8-10 pages, including bibliographical references, until June 30, 2019 to the organizing committee at: ngo@hvl.no.
