SMH-Days 2024: Call for abstract
The deadline for submitting contributions was December 10, 2023.
SMH is the Norwegian Library Association's special group for medicine and health sciences, and it organizes SMH Days every other year in collaboration with a local organizing committee.
The theme for SMH Days 2024 is "Digital Development in Libraries."
Contributions can focus on: tools, teaching methods, artificial intelligence, process development in knowledge updates, new library services, digital competence for librarians, digital marketing, or the human aspect in all things digital.
Do you have a project, have created a program, a tool, or something else interesting that you'd like to present to librarian colleagues?
If so, you should submit an abstract for:
- Poster (portrait format, A0) + 1-minute presentation in plenary
- Workshop - 45 minutes - a workshop consists of a brief introduction and activities for participants
- Presentation in plenary - 30 minutes (20 minutes presentation and 10 minutes for questions)
- Presentation in a parallel session - 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for questions)
The abstract you submit should be 300-600 words in length.

The deadline for submitting contributions is December 10, 2023. You will be notified on December 15, 2023, about the acceptance of your contribution for SMH Days 2024.
SMH Days are organized by a local organizing committee from HVL, UiB, and VID on behalf of the NBF's special group for medicine and health sciences (SMH).
