Operating funds for PhD fellows

As a salaried research fellow at HVL, you will be allocated operating funds placed at your disposition for participation in conferences and related travel, procurement of literature, laboratory materials, equipment, licences, etc.

The operating funds is normally around NOK 150,000. The funds can be distributed equally or disproportionately over the three/four years.

Budget for use of the operating funds should be prepared in collaboration with main supervisor in the beginning of the PhD period. See template here.
