Contents and structure

The content is development of resources for learning, ICT based learning environment and interactive learning objects, where programming tools on different levels are used. It is emphasized to draw lines from simple programming languages and development tools to more general and advanced principle for this type of tools. Design of graphical user interface and communication is also central topics.

Learning Outcome

The Student should: - Knowledge: Have an overview over development tools on different levels, from simple programming languages for children, to more advanced and general principles for development of learning objects. The students shall also know the methods for design of interactive learning objects.

 

- Skills: Be able to use both special and more general development tools for development of interactive learning objects. The students shall also be able to reflect and state the reason for choices of design on learning object and ICT supported learning environment.

- General Qualifications: Be able to design and develop simple learning objects, in addition to evaluate, reflect and participate in development projects regarding development, design and interaction.

Teaching methods

The work is based on teaching, on-campus gatherings, guidance, work with net based resources, work with different development tools and work with assignments.
