The HR subject's background and main characteristics. Various directions, HR strategies, and prerequisites. Design of HR measures or HR activities associated with planning, recruitment, achievement, rewards, competence development, and carriers. The effects of HR measures. The relationship between measures, HR systems, and management. Framework conditions and trends in working life that can influence HR activities in an organization.

- Has insight into evidence-based HRM, including concrete HR activities associated with planning, acquiring, and developing employees.
- Knows the effects of various HR measures, and has insight into the relationship between measures, HR strategies, and management.
- Has insight into various institutional conditions and environmental characteristics that can have significance for how a company manages its HR.

ØKB1112 Organizational Theory and ØKB1113 Organizational Psychology and Management. Relevant practical experience may be considered.
