  • Explain a definite integral of a function graphically.
  • Explain the concept of convergence.
  • Reproduce and discuss thermodynamics first and second law.
  • Define the concepts of current, voltage, resistance and impedance or can explain risk analysis with focus on the establishment of the barrier image.
  • Know the complex numbers and their relation to the real numbers

-Skills

The students can

  • Use calculations based on Newton`s law for linear motion.
  • Use good and clear sketches as part of solutions in mechanics.
  • Use calculation rules of differentiation to find the derivatives of sums, differences, products, quotients and  functions.
  • curc sketching with regard to curvature properties, extrema, turning points, tangent and normal.
  • Use trigonometric formula to solve equations and inequalities, discuss trigonometric exponential and logarithmic functions .
  • Use calculation rules for logarithms to exercises and to solve equations.
  • Use calculation rules for volume and area and can solve maximums and minimums problems.
  • Find indefinite and definite integrals using integrate rules and methods of integration substitution and partial fractions.
  • Find sum of finite arithmetic and geometric series.
  • Find the  convergence of geometric series.
