Contents and structure

The content is concerning fundamental methods for research, and learning theories regarding ICT in teaching and learning. Academically papers will be emphasized in preparing the students to own research work. This shall lead to ides catch and exploratory sketch as a fundament for the master teases. The study is a part of the theoretical foundation for the topic of the master thesis in the second year of the master study.

Learning Outcome

The Student should: Knowledge:

• Have an overview over fundamental methods for research
• Have knowledge about analysing academically papers in relation to content, rhetoric and argumentation

 

Skills:

• Can analyse and use academically papers in a research work
• Can develop a research question and research problem that is relevant in relation to existing research and literature on the selected field

 

General Qualifications:

• Can make a plane and develop a design for research in relation to selected field and research question
• Can evaluate argumentation in academically texts

The work is based on teaching, on-campus gatherings, guidance, work with net based resources and work with assignments.
