Course description for academic year 2018/2019
Contents and structure
The course is based on the mandate of the school and its core tasks, such as class management and planning and implementation and evaluation of teaching. The key topics in the course are pedagogical learning and motivational psychology, socialisation and didactic planning tools.

- Has in-depth didactic and pedagogical knowledge for the relevant years
- Has a broad understanding of the mandate of the school, the values of the education and the course of training.
- Has broad knowledge of child and youth culture and child and youth development and learning in different social and cultural contexts

- Can use varied work methods, differentiate and adapt teaching in line with applicable curricula, and create motivating and inclusive learning environments
General competence:
- Can convey pedagogical and didactic issues at an advanced level
- Has a professional attitude and can critically reflect on issues within the discipline, in professional ethics and related to disciplinary and educational policy

Teaching methods
Teaching is meeting-based and will be performed in large and smaller groups. Guidance and follow-up will be given individually and to some extent in small groups
Compulsory learning activities
Participation in 5 out of 6 meeting days
Must have submitted and passed written study requirements
All study requirements are specified in the semester plan
