Teaching methods
Teaching will consist of lectures and seminars in combination with discussions, group work, and individual activities. Students will gain experience with practical methods and activities that can be used in the Norwegian school system. The course requires systematic work with exercises and active participation in class.
Work placement/internship
The student is to undergo a compulsory teaching practice in groups or individually in school. The period consists of approximately 10 hours of teaching and 4 hours of guidance by the supervisor. A written practice report is a compulsory, individual work requirement. The practice period will be open for international students who master Norwegian at a simple level.
