Contents and structure
The subject covers LabVIEW used for process data acquisition, manipulation, presentation and generation.
Contents
- Basic graphical programming
- Variables, structures, arrays, clusters
- Producer/consumer structure
- Data in and out via external equipment (DAQ)
- Process control with LabVIEW

Knowledge
- The candidate has an overview of programming strategies for graphical programming.
Skills
- The candidate is able to perform programming in LabVIEW.
General qualifications
- The candidate is able to participate in planning, commissioning and operation of a system based on LabVIEW

Recommended previous knowledge
The students are assumed to have prerequisites similar to the following subjects:
- ELE100/ ELE141 Electric Basics 1
- ELE101/ELE142 Electric Basics 2
- ELE102 Computer technologies and programming

Lectures and practical exercises
Compulsory learning activities
- Four approved practical laboratory exercises
Assessment
Oral/practical exam.
Time and place for the exam will be announced via Studentweb. Grades from A to F, where F is not passed.

All aids that do not involve communication with others are allowed.
