Contents and structure

Our society faces major challenges that require adaptation and change, and which make it important to master projects as a form of work.

The O&G companies must adjust thier operations towards the renewable market. The prosjects in this marker are smaller than the traditional oil and gas prosjects, contain new technologirs and the organizations are smaller. This means that the roles in the prosjects also changes. Planners in such prosjects must understand the technomogy, the implementation metthodology and cover several disciplines.

In this course you gain relevant knowledge and skills within project planning, project management and establishment and how a project is carried out to succeed.

The course provides a modern theoretical foundation for the subject area of ​​estimation and planning and focuses on selected areas of application that are considered central to the supplier industry.

The course is divided into 3 main modules.

Module 1: Project understanding

  • Project organisation/Teamwork/Development of teams
  • Communication in a project team - towards customers. Different models

Module 2: The planning process

  • Planning methods
  • Establishment of plans/level of plans
  • Total Planning

Module 3: Uncertainty understanding, Organization and reporting of plans

  • What characterizes a successful project - success criteria

Learning Outcome

Knowledge

After completing the course, students should have acquired in-depth knowledge of:
