Knowledge:

Know the content and construction for teaching and learning in higher education as a field of science at Høgskulen på Vestlandet.

 

• Have knowledge of different theoretical perspectives on knowledge, learning and assessment
• Have knowledge of the basic principle for guiding colleagues and students
• Have knowledge of factors that can affect the learning environment in higher education
• Know the possibilities and challenges associated with the use of digital tools in the learning process in higher education

 

Skills:

• Be able to plan, implement and evaluate your own teaching in line with the qualifications that is required.
• Be able to guide students in their work assignments
• Be able to assess students' learning

 

General Competence:

• Have a critical and analytical attitude to planning, implementation and evaluation of your own and others' teaching
• Have professional and ethical awareness of your own role as a professional educator and part of the university academic and professional community
