Organization and management 2 is an advanced course in the field of organization and management studies. Various theories and perspectives on organizations and management which in different ways highlight organizational and management behaviour is central. The aim is to develop skills of comprehensive analysis of organizations and management, how internal and external factors combined determine organizational and management behaviour and what consequences this can have for the forming and change of organizations and the management role in different contexts.
The course offers knowledge on modern organizations as complex systems, both in the private and public sectors, and how managers are expected to fill active leadership under changing conditions and expectations which are often paradoxical.
