I am the administrative coordinator for the PhD programme in Health, Function and Participation .

Key tasks:

       · Follow-up of candidates throughout the PhD education; including start-up meetings, admissions, agreements, approvals, mid term evaluations, and extensions of the PhD period

       · Follow-up and administration of submission, appointment of evaluation committee, trial lecture, public defence and diploma

       · Secretary for the programme committee for the PhD programme Health, Function and Participation; including preparation of cases and follow-up of decisions

       · Case handling and allocation of mobility grants

       · Follow-up and reporting within own area of responsibility; including progress reporting for candidates, course evaluations, DBH reporting, and status and budget for the PhD programme

       · Arrange meetings in the PhD forum, supervisor forum, and PhD gatherings

       · Follow-up of the course portfolio in the PhD programme, and admission of single course students

       · Development and revision of routines, procedures and regulations, and maintenance of the PhD programme's website

     · Participation in network group for doctoral education at HVL

I have a master's degree in zoological ecology from the University of Bergen, in addition to practical pedagogical education from the same institution. Before joining HVL in 2022, I have worked in study- and research administration at the University Centre in Svalbard and the University of Bergen since 2005. Previously, I have also worked as a high school- and folk high school teacher, and as an environmental protection advisor in the municipal sector.
