Jostein Rønning Sanderud was employed at HVL campus Sogndal in 2012. He completed his PhD on children's play in nature in 2022 and is associated to KINDknow - Kindergarten Knowledge Centre for Systemic Research on Diversity and Sustainable Futures.
He has a Master's in 'friluftsliv' and sports studies.
