Courses taught

I teach geography within social studies for primary and secondary school teacher education, and additionally, I am a advisor in this education program.

Research areas

My main research is on cultural landscapes. Here, I investigate how regional and local, and also global, social and natural conditions shape agriculture over time, and how this use, in turn, shapes the landscape and vegetation. My focus is on Norwegian outfield areas over the past 2000 years.
