Field of work

Research:

I am a Research Fellow in Norwegian at the Department of Languages, Literature, Mathematics and Interpretation. The PhD project has the preliminary title: "Language acquisition amongst multilingual children, a longitudinal study."

The study's main issue revolves around how multilingual language acquisition takes place in a Norwegian kindergarten context? I work towards the issue from a longitudinal perspective with two methodical approaches, assessing multilingual children's vocabulary in their first language and Norwegian with the Cross-linguistic Lexical Tasks (CLT), and observing children in play with monolingual Norwegian-speaking children.

Roles and positions:

Editorial board member of the popular science journal Språkprat
