Karl Ove Hufthammer er førsteamanuensis ved Senter for omsorgsforskning, vest og ved Institutt for velferd og deltaking. Han er utdanna statistikar og deltar i forskingsprosjekt og ved undervising houvdsakleg med spisskompetansen sin på statistikk / kvantitativ metode.
Han har frå tidlegare jobb ved Helse Bergen / Helse Vest lang erfaring med forsking og registerarbeid innan medisin og helsefag.
