Catharina Renate Christophersen

Arbeids- og kompetanseområde

Catharina Christophersen har bakgrunn frå arbeid som lærar i grunnskule og kulturskule. Ho har doktorgrad i musikkpedagogikk frå Norges Musikkhøgskule i Oslo. Ho underviser i musikkpedagogiske emne, forskingsmetode og forskingsetikk, og ho rettleiar både master- og PhD-avvhandlingar. Ho var forskar i og prosjektleiar for det NFR-finansierte forskingsprosjektet "Music Teacher Education for the Future" (FUTURED 2019-2022).  I dette prosjektet såg forskarane nærare på musikkfag og musikkundervisning i den nye 5-årige grunnskulelærarutdanninga, og både kartla og utfordra det eksisterande, så vel som bidrog til utvikling av nye undervisningspraksisar. Catharina er leiar av FLKIs Stipendiatforum, og har vore leiar for forskargruppa Culture-Criticism-Community. Ho er no leiar av Norsk forum for musikkpedagogisk forsking, og ein av redaktørane for MusikkPed Podden.
